- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 (10 ounce) cans pizza sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons fennel seeds
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 1⁄2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 loaves French bread, sliced and toasted
directions
- Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat; drain.
- Add remaining ingredients except bread; simmer until cheese melts.
- Serve hot with bread slices for dipping.
