- 1 loaf Italian bread
- pesto sauce
- tomatoes, sliced
- mozzarella cheese, grated
directions
- Slice the bread in half lengthwise.
- Spread both sides with pesto sauce.
- Top with sliced tomatoes.
- Sprinkle cheese on top.
- Please under heat until cheese melts and serve!

WOW! I used French bread (a fat loaf) for this recipe. It took about 1/3 cup pesto sauce...you only need a THIN film as it's very flavourful. Classico is my fave brand. I used about 1 cup of shredded cheese and sprinkled with a little salt and pepper before broiling. I served it with salad...tasty and SO filling.
