Peaches and Cream Pie

This is a delicious pie to make when peaches are dripping with juice.

Oh,yum! I don't usually make pies because I'm dough-challenged, but this sounded so good I thought I'd make an exception. I'm so glad that I did, because it was delicious. I did have to use frozen peach slices because I couldn't find any fresh. Thanks for another great recipe Evelyn.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 sour cream pie crust, rolled out and fitted into 9 inch pie dish (#63423 in my recipes)
  • 34 cup sugar
  • 14 cup all-purpose flour
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • 14 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 cups peeled sliced peaches
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • whipped cream (garnish)


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Prick pie shell with fork.
  3. Bake 10 minutes.
  4. Set aside.
  5. Increase oven temperature to 400 degrees F.
  6. Combine sugar, flour, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon in large bowl.
  7. Add peaches and toss gently.
  8. Spoon into pie shell.
  9. Pour whipping cream over top.
  10. Bake until set, about 40-45 minutes.
  11. Let cool to room temperature.
  12. Serve with whipped cream.
