- 3⁄4 cup warm water
- 7 g sachet dried yeast
- 1 teaspoon caster sugar
- 2 cups flour, fine 00
- 1⁄4 cup semolina flour, fine
- 1⁄2 teaspoon table salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- extra fine semolina flour, for dusting
directions
- Stir water, yeast and sugar in a small jug until combined.
- Stand in a warm place for around 5 minutes or until a frothy layer forms on the surface.
- Sift flour, semolina and salt into a large bowl.
- Add yeast mixture and oil, stir to combine.
- Use your hands to bring dough together.
- Knead on a lightly floured surface for around 10 minutes or until smooth.
- Place into a large oiled bowl, cover and set aside in a warm place for around an hour, or until has doubled in size.
- Knock down with your fist and use as desired.
