Great dessert for finishing a meal.
- 3 1⁄2 cups fresh orange juice
- 3 tablespoons honey or 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons grated orange zest
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
- 1⁄2 lemon, juice of, freshly-squeezed
- 2 tablespoons mild fresh oregano
- 1 tablespoon vodka (optional)
- Combine all ingredients in blender and process until the leaves are well pulverized.
- Pour into bowl of ice cream maker freezer and freeze according to manufacturer’s directions.
