I came across this sauce in Shaker Bread Pudding with Oozing Caramel Sauce for Shaker Bread Pudding with Oozing Caramel Sauce. I plan to try it out as a fat-free topping for vanilla frozen yogurt.
- In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil. Cook for one minute and stir in milk powder.
Unless I did something terribly wrong, this came out tasting like sugar, including being extremely grainy. It really had no flavor.
