Onion Flat Bread

Serve with soup or salad for a complete meal. You can't cut this bread you have to break it. Serve hot with butter

This was great! I used vidalia onions. On 1 bread, I used sweet paprika. On the other, I used hot paprika. Both were delicious. The only drawback was as it cooled, it got TOO crusty (actually HARD & rather unappealing) Fortunately, we gobbled most of it up before then. :) Thanks! MAde for PAC Spring '07

  1. Mix yeast into the warm water,add sugar& salt.
  2. Stir in the flour.
  3. Knead& let rise tell double.
  4. Grease 2 pie plates.
  5. Press 1/2 the dough into each plate.
  6. Spread the top of each with butter.
  7. Sprinkle the onion on top.
  8. Sprinkle each with some salt& paprika.
  9. Bake 450 degrees 20 minutes.
