  1. The most disappointing sugar cookie recipe I've ever tried. First, the dough is very sticky even after refrigerating overnight. Make sure you use plenty of flour (or 1/2 flour and 1/2 confectioner's sugar) to roll them out. Second, they puff up so much that it totally obliterates the design on our cookie cutters. If the flavor made up for it, I wouldn't mind so much, but we thought they were rather blah. A few of us thought they were kind of like a white cake, but my husband said it was like eating a biscuit. I definitely would not bother making these again.

  2. These were kinda dry and puffy not quite what I was expecting. Good flavor though. I will be looking for another recipe.

  3. Every year I host a Christmas Cookie Decorating Party for adults, and I lost my recipe for sour cream sugar cookies. This one looked very similiar. We LOVED them... in fact, we are making a batch this weekend for the kiddos... This was a hit!

  4. I thought rolling it out to 1/2" resulted in a very thick cookie. It also to about 20 minutes in my 325 F oven to get golden brown. Taste was great!
