I got this recipe off of the back of a generic butterscotch chip wrapper. I added some ingredients (I don't like plain butterscotch cookies) and they turned out really good!

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Grease a 9x13 inch cake pan.
  3. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl.
  4. Set aside.
  5. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugars, and eggs.
  6. Beat until creamy.
  7. Blend in four mixture and oats.
  8. Pour in 3/4 cups of butterscotch chips and 3/4 cups chocolate chips.
  9. Spread batter into cake pan.
  10. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.
  11. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  12. Let cool and cut into bars.

Too dry. Next time I would reduce the flour by half a cup. I also thought there was too much sugar in the recipe, so I reduced it to about 3/8c brown sugar. That worked pretty well. I also added some vanilla. Probably will use some coarse sea salt next time.
