- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 chicken breasts, cubed, one inch
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 2 sweet potatoes
- 2 quarts beef broth
- 1 head cauliflower
- 1⁄4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1⁄4 head cabbage
- 16 ounces flour stick noodles
- 1 tablespoon grated garlic
- 2 tablespoons grated ginger
directions
- Add oil to a large pot and bring to medium high heat.
- Add chicken working a batch at a time, 2 to 3 batches, you're looking to brown the chicken, not cook it. Set each batch aside in a bowl as it completes.
- Put onion, celery, and potato in the pot, reduce heat to medium, and cook vegetables until onions begin to turn translucent.
- Add garlic and ginger, cook and stir for 2 minutes.
- Add beef broth, cabbage, and noodles.
- Cover and boil until noodles are ready.
- Add salt and pepper to taste, serve.
