These were tasty, but I think they could have used a bit more pepper and perhaps an herb. DH liked them as is. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Combine beef, potato, onions, egg, cream, salt and pepper.
  2. Mix well and shape into 12 thin patties.
  3. Melt 4 tablespoons butter in a skillet.
  4. Saute patties about 7-8 minutes.
  5. Turn over and saute for 7-8 minutes more.
  6. Remove and keep warm.
  7. Melt remaining butter in skillet.
  8. Whisk in flour.
  9. Gradually add milk, whisking constantly.
  10. Bring just to a boil, stirring constantly.
  11. Reduce heat to low and cook 5 minutes.
  12. Pour over the meat patties.
