Naan makes the perfect pizza crust IMO. It's great to have on hand in the freezer and simply throw on whatever you have. I did not make the recipe exact, I used olive oil, grilled zucchini and mushrooms, mozzarella, provolone and a few crumbles of gorgonzola on top. In summer it's too hot to use my oven and one naan fits right into my toaster oven. Gourmet pizza taste at a fraction of the price, while I clear things out of my fridge!

I discovered this great base idea when my supermarket had closed their pizza counter early and made my own DIY version with naan bread. Realy is a great base when you considered the variety of naan's out there. I use Levi Roots bbq sauce for the base and lob on chorizo ham red onions what ever my firdge contains.

I always knew Nigella was a smart woman - I've been making pizza from naan bread for years! LOL I love to play around with toppings for these; recently I had some Saag Paneer leftover from dinner out so spread it on a piece of Naan, and topped with shredded Monterey jack cheese then baked. It was delish! Your ingredient choices sound excellent and I am definitely going to try them soon! Thanks! :)
