  1. Heat the oil in a pan and add the cloves and cinnamon stick. Fry for a few seconds, add the onions and saute for a few more minutes. Add the chili powder, coriander, garlic and tumeric along with just a little bit of water and saute until the onions soften. Add the tomato puree, mushrooms and salt and simmer for 5-8 mins on low heat. Serve hot, great with rice!

Reviewed for ZWT8 visit to India. Loved these mushrooms. I think next time though I might tone down the red hot chilli powder (crushed red chillis) a little though. Having said this thoug, I really enjoyed this dish. Photo also to be posted
