Mom's Easy Crock Pot BBQ Ribs

"This is how my mom always made BBQ ribs, and it can't get any easier. This method keeps the sauce nice & thick. I'm posting it here mainly to see what the nutritional information is."

  • Place ribs in crock pot and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook on low all day-- 6-8 hours.
  • About an hour before supper time, drain all the liquid from the pot. Return ribs to pot and pour in the BBQ sauce. Simmer on low another hour.
  • Serve and enjoy!

  1. I'm not adding a rating because I didn't make this exactly but I used this recipe as a jumping-off point to make shredded pork for sandwiches and it was awesome! I used 2.5 lb of boneless ribs and about 1.25 cups of homemade sauce, Recipe #293451. After 6 hours the ribs were fall-apart tender so I added the sauce and cooked for 1/2 hour more - until hot through. Thanks so much for this great and super easy recipe idea!
