A good, slightly sweet bread. The egg adds flavor, but is not too "eggy" tasting. This is our favorite basic bread.

  1. Measure carefully, placing all ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Set to sweet or basic cycle. Makes a 1 1/2 pound loaf.

So easy to make. I made this for our Mexican Food Day at work and everyone at work was asking where this bread came from.

Loved this bread but instead of all 3 cups of white flour I replaced 2 with wheat and added a little honey. Everyone loves it

We just ate a slice of this fresh out of the oven and it earned everyone of it's 5 stars. It is very light and airy. I used the dough cycle and then let it rise in a loaf pan for 30 minutes before baking at 375 degrees for about 35 minutes. This is a really great bread recipe.
