Meat Loaf (Ranch Style)

ingredients
- 3 lbs hamburger
- 1 lb pork sausage
- 1⁄4 lb soda cracker, mashed
- 2 cups Pace Picante Sauce
- 1 cup A.1. Original Sauce
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 10 ounces tomato sauce
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup picante sauce
- 1 cup ketchup
directions
- Mush all ingredients together and form a loaf in a glass-baking dish (approx 9 x 13). Center loaf, leave room around edges for fat to run off. Bake for approximately 40 minutes @ 400 deg. Remove from oven and top with ketchup and picante sauce mixed 50/50, reheat for 10 minutes or so.

Made for PAC 2009. This was very good but should be noted that it is more of a southwestern meatloaf. My family enjoyed.

I am older guy living in Colorado most of my life. Just my wife and I now. The kids are all gone. There were six kids and 32 foster kids that had to be fed over the years. I enjoyed cooking for the masses. Now I enjoy just feeding the few. Most of my recipes are easy comfort foods. Nothing to write home about. Although all of the kids invite their selves over quite regular.
