  • Combine eggs and milk; stir in crumbs, onion, parsley, salt, sage and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Add beef; mix well. Mold in a glass baking dish. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 50 minutes.
  • Combine ketchup, sugar and mustard and spread over meat loaf when it is done and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

  1. This was wonderful. It was the perfect texture, which is so important in meatloaf. There was just enough "filler" to keep it together, but it still tasted meaty and delicious. This is basically a great Mom's Old Fashioned Meatloaf recipe. I might experiment once in a while with "fancier" meatloaf, like Italian or Mexican, Stuffed, or Gourmet. But this is the one I'm always going back to. This is old fashioned meatloaf at its best. A must try. I'm keeping this one and will use it often.
