  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Bake in greased and floured 13 x 9 pan for 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees until done.

What a quick and simple cake to throw together!!
I used my electric whisk..wouldn't do it again though,as the batter rose up the beaters and made a bit of a gooey mess. Easily remedied with a trusty spatula (plus the kids got extra utensils to lick-so no complaints there!!).
This makes for a very moist cake,that keeps very nicely. A great 'go to' recipe when you need to produce something in a hurry.

This is EXACT recipe that my husbands Grandmother sent to us except this one calls for 6 Tbs. of Cocoa and hers was only 3. I'm making this tonight as a suprise for him and using the 6 that your recipe calls for, hehe. I'll let you know if he can tell..LOL.

Just like Grandma used to make! I cut the recipe in half, and subbed Splenda Brown Sugar Blend for the sugar (only use half of the amount of sugar called for, and cut baking time about 5 minutes) Very rich tasting snack cake, and doesn't need frosting. I served with a scoop of no sugar added vanilla ice cream. Made for Winter 2010 Comfort Cafe game.
