- 1 unbaked deep dish pie shell
- 2 eggs
- 29.58 ml butter, melted
- 4.92 ml vanilla
- 0.61 ml almond extract
- 236.59 ml sugar
- 118.29 ml light corn syrup
- 118.29 ml dark corn syrup
- 473.18 ml pecan halves or 473.18 ml chopped pecans
- 177.44 ml chocolate chips or 177.44 ml chopped dark chocolate
directions
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, butter, vanilla and almond extract to combine.
- Add the sugar, mix well.
- Add the corn syrups and mix thoroughly.
- Using a rubber spatula, stir in pecans and chocolate.
- Pour filling into pie crust and bake at 350 degrees until filling is set about 55-60 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
