- 4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
- 1⁄4 cup salad oil (not olive oil)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons sugar (or to taste)
- salt and pepper
- 2 large onions, sliced and seperated into rings (extra-large)
