Lime Crema for Chili, Tacos, Fajitas and More

This combination of sour cream and lime is to die for (if you like limes lol). I use it instead of plain sour cream in lots of recipes, and have changed it to tangerine, lemon or other citrus fruits as well. 3 recipes on zaar use it, but it deserves its own spot as a condiment in its own right

Ingredients:

Serves: 1

Yield: 1.0 cup

• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 lime, juice of
• 1 teaspoon lime zest, to taste (i use more)

Directions:

1. Whisk all three ingredients together and serve with any Tex Mex or Mexican recipe instead of plain sour cream.

Delish! But I found it overpowering with only 1 cup of sour cream (2 cups is better, for my taste). Strained plain yogurt works very well too.
