  • In a small bowl combine first six ingredients.
  • Gradually whisk in olive oil until well blended.
  • Stir in shallots.
  • Drizzle over salad and toss to coat and serve immediately if serving salad.
  • I like to let the flavours marry overnight for a stronger flavour.

Mom of 2, a girl and a boy who are 11 and soooo picky, neither of them like what the other likes so cooking is a chore! heh One's in the oven still baking ;) I'm due Dec '08. I'm also a step-mom to yet another 11 year old who has never eaten a sandwich and outright refuses to! I'm originally from Northern Ontario, but moved to Virginia 12 years ago for school. Two years ago I moved up to MA and got my first lesson on a gas stove, I've never had one ever! I would never go back to electric again lol 'Zaar has been such a lifesaver for me when it comes to recipes I've rarely had one that has ever failed the family...but there was this one time...heh Well I guess that's the short fast version...maybe one day i'll actually sit down and right a "real" about me page :)
