Excellant! I made this stovetop using 1 pound of ground lamb. The seasoning was perfect. DH had 3 servings!

this is such an easy recipe and so delicious. i used to make this all the time before we moved to florida and lost the cookbook in the move. now that we are back home in Pennsylvania I was trying to find the cookbook. thank you for posting it, it tastes just like Campbells Scotch Broth, but better, rich, meaty and full of vegetables and barley. DH hates barley but loves this soup. sorry forgot the stars in the first review
