- 1 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄3 cup cocoa powder
- 1⁄2 cup oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- Prepare cupcake tins; lightly grease or insert paper liners.
- Mix all ingredients together with an electric mixer on medium speed until moist and well blended.
- Fill each cup 3/4 full. Bake for 20-25 minute at 350 degrees F.
I was looking for a cupcake recipe with ingredients I had on hand. Was curious how they would turn out without egg, but it wasn't missed at all. They turned out perfectly. I'll definitely be making these again. Thanks.
