Sweet dry rub for your barbecue needs. Chili powder can replace chipotle powder, but still try to make sure it's not a blend.
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon dried chipotle powder (No BLENDS)
- 1 tablespoon garlic salt (PLEASE USE POWDER)
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cayenne
- Mix all ingredients together.
I used the chili powder. I liked this. Not too spicy, not too hot and not too sweet. Thanks for posting.
This has become the standard rub that I use for my world famous ribs (I need to post that recipe)
I did use chili instead of the chipotle and it was plenty spicy enough for us. We really liked this on our ribs! Thanks for this one!
