  1. This recipe is not bad at all but I agree it is not a japanese salad dressing, my husband is japanese and I have the recipe for what most of our steakhouses here in va use, you can do what i did for this recipe ad the following ingredients - Pulverize 1/4 cup of chopped onion and 2 small pieces of peeled ginger root roughly 1 inch into a smooth paste with a food processor add 1/2 cup of olive oil / 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar / 1 tbsp of grey poupon / 1/4 cup of teriyaki sauce - 1/8 tsp of salt and pepper to the mix and blend for several minutes - ad the two recipes together and chill for several hours -the heavier ingredients will settle to the bottom so be sure to mix it well before serving - its a good way to turn this recipe into a keeper if u dont like it at first.

  2. My photo doesn't really show the dressing as I tossed it with the salad ingredients. I enjoyed it very much - I used it with a mixed greens salad, carrot strips, green onion, and tomato with strips of teriyaki chicken on top. Will probably add more mayo or use less liquid next time to make the consistency a bit thicker. Thank you for the delicious and easy recipe!

  3. We quite enjoyed this recipe. Following previous comments, I did add 1/4 tsp of powdered ginger and a pinch of salt and pepper. This makes up fast and easy and enough for 2 meals. I would do this recipe again!

  4. Really good and fast to make. Could have used a little something extra - ginger maybe? My husband was definitely a fan - will definitely make it again - especially during the week when I'm trying to put things together quickly!

  5. I tried this recipe and it was delicious! It tastes just like the Japenese Steak Houses we can where I live such as Mikato's and Shogun. I don't usually write reviews even if I like it or not but when I went back to print out the recipe for future use after trying it, I seen the previous review and thought it was completely unfair to the recipe. This recipe is delicious!
