Jamaican Peppered Shrimp
"I found this while looking for ZWT3 recipes.
These are extremely spicy. You may want to adjust the amout of peppers or hot sauce to your own liking if you are not into extreme heat. I think this is goes well with my Recipe #233275."

ingredients
- 2 scotch bonnet peppers or (5 ounce) bottles hot pepper sauce
- 1 lb scallion
- 2 lbs shrimp
- garlic (to taste)
- thyme (to taste)
- oil (for frying)
directions
- Place shrimp in bowl, and add scotch bonnet peppers or bottled pepper sauce, chopped scallion, thyme and garlic.
- Mix all seasonings into shrimp and allow to marinate in refrigerator over night or 6 - 8 hours.
- To cook, place oil in frying pan and allow oil to get hot.
- Add shrimp and cook just until tender.
- Remove from heat and peel the shrimp.
- Serve.

Our oldest granddaughters - Kailey and Addisyn (with grandma & grandpa)
The top photo is my dd, Jacelyn aka FraggleJ and her two boys. She was expecting her daughter when the photo was taken. The other photo is Jacob & grandma :), both were taken last Saturday (03/29/08) while we were climbing a local butte. Those two little boys did an amazingly good job of hiking the steep trail (so did grandma!).

I love to travel! Not only do I get to see new places and meet interesting people - I get to try new food.
My other passions are my grandkids!!! Nothing beats grandmahood.
