This is a great topping to put over rice and vegies. An friend who grew up in indonesia gave me this recipe.
- 1⁄2 small onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 cup crunch peanut butter
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- Mix all the ingredients together and add water (based on how thick you would like it to be).
- Cook on medium heat in sauce pan until sauce is bubbly and slightly thickened.
- Serve over rice and/or vegetables.
