  • Prepare jars for canning.
  • Bring all ingredients up to a simmer in a large, heavy-bottomed saucepot, stirring often.
  • Simmer for about 15 minutes, until pears are tender and cranberries have popped.
  • Pack into sterilized jars and seal.
