I first made this chili for a coffee themed dinner party where it garnered rave reviews! In making it again for the umpteenth time, I realize I had not yet rated it. Silly me! Worth every bit of 5 stars and more! Made as written with buffalo meat instead of beef (oh, OK, so I did put in a bit more garlic). It is now my go-to chili. Thanks, Annacia, for posting!

Absolutely delicious! I made two changes: I don't care for onions so used green and red bell peppers instead, and used some leftover roast, chopped, instead of the ground beef. Loved the combination of spices with the bold coffee base - I used hot chili powder and it was terrific. The raisins were a pleasant surprise. Served over brown rice and forgot the almonds, but will try them next time. Thanks for sharing this recipe!
