  • Mix first 6 ingredients with electric mixer on medium. Then add the eggs and mix on high. Add almond flour and mix. Put in a buttered 7" x 9" baking pan. Cook at 350 F for 25 - 30 minute.

  1. This was inedible. I have made many recipes from this site and enjoyed them, but I tried this and threw it out.
     
  2. Made the cake to recipe and it was very bitter.
     
  3. I made some substitutions because I can eat wheat. I only used 2 eggs, cut the stevia to 1/4 tsp (should of added more), used 1.5 cups of whole wheat pastry flour, added 3/4 cup milk (because it was dry) and added 1 tsp baking soda (thought I'd need it). This made 12 muffins, which I baked for 23 minutes. I think I added too much baking soda, so it tasted bitter. I'd omit or reduce baking soda to 1/2 tsp. These were really moist, but could have tasted better.
     
  4. This cake is excellent! I'm always looking for "candida-friendly" sort of desert recipes and it's difficult to find flourless recipes that don't have any sugar (stevia is a life-saver). I've made this cake multiple times because it's SO good!!!
