A healthier version of sautéed cabbage for those who would rather not make it with bacon grease. I find the bacon version much too heavy, so I created this recipe which has almost no saturated fat (depending on what oil you use). Try making it with red and green cabbage for a beautiful and yummy dish.

- Heat oil in a large, heavy skillet.
- Add onion to skillet and sauté over medium heat until almost translucent, but not quite.
- Add cabbage and sauté to desired texture.
- Add salt to taste.
- You can experiment with various flavors such as adding garlic, cayenne, or using roasted hazelnut oil.
