ingredients

• 1 cup hazelnuts (grounded in-blender to a coarse flour)
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 2 tablespoons baking powder
• 1⁄2 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1⁄4 cup unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
• 1 cup milk, warm
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup apple, chopped

directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F Combine hazelnuts, flour, baking powder and sugar. Add eggs, butter, milk, vanilla, salt and apples. Let stand 10 minutes. Fill greased muffin pan with the batter. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
