  2. Exactly as I remember them from when i was a kid. AWe loved it TY!

  3. Outstanding! Takes me back to my childhood. I left out the peanuts and doubled the chow mein noodles. Thanks for the recipe!

  4. These were great. My daughter and I had fun making these and eating them. The second time I made them I didn't have butterscotch chips so I substituted white chocolate chips. It gave the flavor a good depth and was a nice change, but I loved the butterscotch chips as well.

  5. Just finished making these. So good! I used cocktail peanuts also. Going to try peanutbutter chips instead of butterscotch chips on the next batch.

  2. These were delicious! I used cocktail peanuts instead of spanish peanuts and used a 9oz bag of the chow mein noodles instead of just a 5oz can. I'm glad I used the extra noodles, though. It gave it just a little extra crunch. This made a very large batch--75 pieces. My grandmother used to make these with just butterscotch chips, and I loved them, but I liked the mix of butterscotch and chocolate even better. I think I may try substituting white chocolate chips for the semi-sweet next time.
