I baked the beets first and then added to them to the sauce. Scrumptious and extremely easy!!

  1. In med saucepan, mix cornstarch, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add vinegar and water.
  3. Cook and stir until thickened.
  4. Add butter and beets.
  5. Heat through.
