  1. I liked this bread, but I don't really think it is anything like what other reviewers said it was. Mine was a bit dry...I know it's bread so it's not exactly supposed to be wet, but I would have liked a little more moisture. This would make good biscuits too. Thanks for posting Nimz. Made for the week 1 Football Pool, 2008.

  2. I had leftover ham and needed a quick recipe to put it in. I came across this and thought it sounded like a good idea. I didnt have biscuit mix on hand, so I used the substitute [when I clicked on the ingredient, they information listed gave a good substitution]. It was really good; we all enjoyed it.

  3. Nimrod another wonderful recipe! I used honey ham instead of smoked and cheddar cheese. This went together so easily and quickly! We had this for a quick snack on the weekend and this would be great for anytime of the day!

  4. Yummy! I made this for breakfast and served with fresh fruit and scrambled eggs. The bread is tender and thin, almost like a thick pancake full of ham and cheese. The kids enjoyed it and I think it would make a wonderful on the go breakfast, too. Used Bisquick Clone Recipe #12648 and plain nonfat yogurt instead of sour cream cause I was out. Goes together in a flash. Thanks, NimrodCook, for a delicious treat!

  5. Made this today, it was good. I used swiss cheese and next time I could see putting bell peppers in to make it like a denver. I put it in my 9" cast iron to bake it. Kinda like an omlet and bread all in one. thank you for posting.

I was one of the original members of Recipezaar that was truly a community of individuals that enjoyed each other in forums and chat rooms. I've been a member of this site since 2003. Made some tremendous friends that I still think of often. I'll continue coming here because my recipes are here and so many more that I tried over the years as a member. It's just a tad boring now and just another recipe site like all the rest. Sad.
