A low fat cookie from a WW cookbook. I have not made this recipe yet, but plan to soon. I love granola! 1 cookie is 2 points.

Directions

  1. Mix flour, salt, cinnamon, and baking powder in a small bowl and set aside.
  2. With electric mixer, beat both sugars, and the oil until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla and beat well.
  4. Stir in the flour mixture until just moistened.
  5. Stir in granola.
  6. Drop dough by rounded teaspoon onto a baking sheet that has been sprayed well with nonstick cooking spray.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 350°F until cookies are light brown and set.
  8. Cool cookies on baking sheet for 5 minutes until they are firm.
  9. Remove cookies to rack and let cool completely.

Made the mistake of not looking at the reviews and I had the exact same problem - looked like the beginnings of shortbread rather than drop cookies! Added creamed margerine until it easily clumped together in my hand. Could do with more granola too.

I would have to agree that the idea is nice, but these didn't turn out. It was too dry. My 2 year old son took one bite and said he didn't want anymore.

There's not enough liquid in this recipe. It was just crumbs. I was able to mash together 3 balls (which were as hard as rocks after baking), but I did add 1/2 cup applesauce to the remaining batter and that solved the liquid problem. The cookies were not tasty. I won't make this again.
