Been eating this fudge for 40+ years. After gramma could no longer make it I took over. Family tradition to always have this fudge at the holidays.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. In large pan mix sugar, milk and margarine.
  2. Boil until soft ball stage, about 8 minutes of a rolling boil.
  3. Remove from heat and quickly add remaining ingredients.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Spread in 9x13 pan greased.
  6. Let set.
  7. Makes about 5 pounds.

PERFECT!!! Great texture and flavor. I am going to experiment now with differet flavor chips and add-ins. It made a nice thick fudge, which some other recipes don't. I will definetly make it again. This did take more than 8 minutes to get it to soft ball stage (238). But I cook my candies on medium low to prevent burning.

I don't usually write reviews but I had to for this fudge. I was dubbed "queen of fudge" by my sister after I made this. I sent some home with her for her boyfriend and he never received it. She got up in the middle of the night and ate it! She's begging me for more... I used half milk choco chips and half semi sweet and left out the nuts! It's a winner! Thanks!
