Fusako's Egg Drop Soup

"My Oriental friend gave me this recipe. It is very good & can be made thicker by adding more eggs. For variety, try adding green onion or 1 tablespoon of lemon juice."

  1. I tweaked this recipe and added cornstarch to thicken it up a bit. I also added more eggs, garlic powder and creole seasoning. Yummy!

  2. Not bad...I like the secret to makeing the egg stringy. Tepid water mixed gently into the egg. Thx

I have been connected with the military all my life - either as a dependent or on active duty. I have traveled the globe & picked up many "foreign" recipes. I love to cook, especially for a large crowd. My favorites were those I learned by watching someone cook a native dish. My all time favorites are the recipes I learned to fix while stationed in Iran. YUM!!
