- 2 1⁄2 lbs ground beef
- 5 -6 celery ribs, sliced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 cup catsup
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
- 1⁄2 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon Accent seasoning
- 1 (10 ounce) can tomato soup
- 1 (10 ounce) can chicken gumbo soup
- 1⁄2 teaspoon oregano
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 12 hamburger buns
directions
- Brown meat; drain off fat.
- Place meat in roasting pan and mix well with all other ingredients.
- Cover and bake 2 hours at 300°.
- Stir occasionally.
- Serve on buttered warm hamburger buns.
