A friend gave me this recipe. I serve it with twice-baked potatoes and a salad made with mixed greens.

  1. Melt butter with oil in skillet on medium high heat.
  2. Add apples and saute until golden, about 10 minutes.
  3. Add liqueur and bring to a boil.
  4. Add broth, 2 tablespoons parsley, honey and orange peel.
  5. Simmer until liquid is slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
  6. Remove sauce from heat.
  7. Season, to taste, with salt and pepper.
  8. Position rack 6 inches from heat source and preheat broiler.
  9. Sprinkle pork with salt& pepper, to taste.
  10. Arrange pork chops on baking sheet or broiler pan.
  11. Broil until pork is no longer pink on inside, about 7 minutes per side.
  12. Transfer pork to plates.
  13. Spoon hot sauce over pork.
  14. Sprinkle remaining 2 tablespoons parsley over top.
