  • Slice the bread about 3/4 of an inch thick.
  • Mix eggs, milk, egg nog, and spices in a large shallow dish.
  • Dip each slice of bread and let soak slightly.
  • Fry in melted butter until lightly browned.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar and top with fruit or syrup.
