Eggnog Cookies.

"This is a great recipe for egg nog cookies, I found this the other day and thought i would put it here for safe keeping. Ive made these quite a few times this week and the kids love them , They will be a xmas cookie for years to come. Thank you for who ever made this recipe...."

  • Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  • Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • Cream sugar and butter until light.
  • Add eggnog, vanilla, and egg yolks; beat at medium speed with mixer until smooth.
  • Add flour mixture and beat at low speed until just combined.
  • Do not overmix.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet 1 inch apart.
  • Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg or after cooking cinnamon sugar
  • Bake 20 to 23 minutes until bottoms turn light brown.

I am a stay home stepmom . I am into quilting,reading and riding dirtbikes. I have a couple of cookbooks i absolutly use all the time, This one is my favorite though "Looney Spoons " I found recipezarr looking for a recipe and it was the easiest and best site i have been on , I cook alot when you have a family of 2 kids a hubby and 2 parents who eat with us all the time. I am learning how to make desserts on here so time will tell..
