  1. Oh my gosh!!!! I love this recipe!! :) This was the first time i have ever tried making homemade pie crust and it was so easy and tasted great. I have made apple, pumpkin and blueberry pie with this crust and they were all unbelieveable!!!!!! Thank you Toyo for the awesome recipe.

  2. Wow, think I've finally found the recipe I've been searching for. I've tried all the ones with secrets like add vodka or vinegar, everything ice cold, etc. but never the light, flaky crust I was looking for. This is it, and so easy I did not think it was going to work. It did! Made a cherry pie from cherries on our tree and while my skill at shaping is not the best the crust was - can't thank you enough for posting this

  4. I found myself needing a quick crust this afternoon and decided to try this one because of the ratings. Glad that I did and the only thing I would do next time is to brush the top with beaten egg before baking for a glossy top. It works beautifully. It was used to make Recipe #274264.

  5. Easy than average pie crust because of the paste. It makes it much easier to work the water in. Made half a recipe and used for a top crust of a deep dish chicken pie. It was flaky and tasty!

My children got me a kitchen aide for christmas a couple years ago. It is the best kitchen appliance anyone could ever have. Now I make bread, pasta's, cookie dough is a snap.
