When I dated my husband back in the early 60's, we would go to a little cafe and order this soup. It is delicious and by the way, hardly no carbs or fat--healthy, tasty and authentic.

  1. Mix hamburger, onion, salt and pepper, spices and rice; form into balls.
  2. In a dutch oven add beef broth, carrots and celery (can use canned broth or water and bullioin).
  3. Bring broth to boil. Add meatballs. Cover and simmer an hour.
