Ingredients Nutrition

  • 2 lbs baby carrots
  • 1 12 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 12 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 2 tsps dried)
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Cook carrots in water in a covered skillet until barely tender. Salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Uncover and add sugar, orange juice and butter. Add dill.
  3. Cook over high heat until most of the water has evaporated and carrots are lightly glazed. Taste for seasoning.

A nice lightly glazed carrot that is really easy to make. I rinsed off the baby carrots, placed them in a microwave safe bowl and cooked them until crisp tender. They were then added to the sauce and cooked until most had evaporated. A delicious side with Tasty Collard Greens.
