"EaSY! its a nice sponge cake that goes without icing and fit for tea! u can also use it as a sponge and ice it for a special occasion,!"

• Serves: 5-7

ingredients

• 3 eggs
• 1 cup sugar
• 100 g butter
• 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 pinch salt
• 3⁄4 cup flour

directions

1. preheat the oven to 180 C and grease and 8 inch cake tin.
2. beat the eggs and sugar well, until light and airy. add the soft butter and vanilla. beat well.
3. sift together the dry ingredients and mix fold them inches.
4. bake for about 25 min or until the cake test is done.
