This is what my grandma used to make me for breakfast when I was little. Since its made with rye bread instead of white, it has more nutritional value.
- Brown the toast in the toaster. I suggest just browning it lightly, since its rye bread it could get a little too crunchy easily.
- After its toasted, spread butter over top.
- Sprinkle cinnamon on top and coat with brown sugar.
Yummy! I'm not a fan of rye bread, so I substituted Nature's Pride 12 Grain Bread.
