- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic
- 150 ml curds
- 3 cardamoms
- 2 teaspoons cornflour
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 onion, chopped
- 150 ml cold water
- 2 teaspoons tomato puree
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 450 g lamb, cubed
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
directions
- Heat the oil and fry the onion until soft.
- Stir in the garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, cardamom and garam masala.
- Add the meat and fry until browned.
- Stir in the tomato purée, salt, water and cornflour and curd. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for about 45 minutes or until the lamb is tender.
- Serve with rice.
