It's a pretty decent recipe. It is a little bland, but still tastes good with a little salt and pepper. I did leave out the peas, only because getting my husband to eat them is such a struggle. I added in drained pickled jalapenos instead and threw them in at the very end. Overall a very tasty, cheap and easy dish!

This is one of those dishes that brings back memories for me. My daddy used to make this for me when I was little. We were both huge tuna fish fans, but no one in the house seemed to like it so he would always whip up a batch just for us. Now as an adult I make this for myself when I need a little comfort.. I've never added Cream of mushroom soup because of an allergy, but I have substituted 1/2 cup of heavy cream instead of the milk and that always seemed to give it that extra creaminess. I also add 1/2 tsp of pepper. YUMMY!

A quick easy way to make an ok tuna dish. I'm not a big fan of kraft dinner (what we Canadians call it), but somehow had a box in my pantry, so was looking for a way to doctor it up, and this fit the bill. As another reviewer noted I think adding a can of cream of mushroom soup to this would give it some creaminess, but then that would be a whole different recipe: which is here on zaar as well!

I came to this site in March of 2004. It was then called Recipezaar. This site was the first on-line site that I ever joined. I first popped in 2003 while searching for a Peach Cobbler Recipe. In March of 2004, DH was having shoulder surgery and I was looking for a Split Pea Soup. Once again I found myself on Zaar as it came to be called.
Over the years I hung out and learned from some of the best home cooks in the country, I posted over 700 recipes on the site, reviewed over 3500 recipes and posted over 3000 food photos. Over the next 10 years the site made many changes and in 2010 it was sold to to Food Network and became Food.com.
Until last year we played games, talked and shared with one another. As a result of the community and the relationships I built I got to meet some wonderful people from all over the country. I also have a great number of friends that I have never meet face to face. Some of us still hang out at various places across the net.
Zaar was more than a cooking community. It was an internet community of friendship. Life is an adventure ever changing.
